Video Store Troubles

The other day I went to hire a movie and I was faced with quite an issue. I found a bunch of movies that had such similar titles I was sure which movie to choose. At first I wondered if I was seeing things but then I realised that companies had run out of movie title. What are your thoughts?

The following movie titles were all found on the same shelf under “New Releases” at my local video store.

Would you rent “Mega Storm” or “Mega Shark”
Based on the fact they are both “mega” I would probably go with “Mega Shark vs “Giant Octopus” just for laughs, I would like to see that

Or maybe “Mega Storm” over “Dark Storm”
Which storm would be the most exciting to watch  you reckon?

How about “2012″ over “2012: Doomsday”
This I found out 2012: Doomsday was a copy movie made with a more religious touch to it. Although the Aztec type symbols and massive city and wave somehow don’t give off as much relegious vibes as our box office hit 2012. What do you think?

Or maybe even “The day the Earth Stood Still” or “The Day the Earth Stopped”
This one was a great one, I thought maybe for a second it could of been a sequel or something but then I saw that robot and remembered in the Keanu version they had a robot or machine that pretty much was the feature of the movie. Plus both these movies were on the new release stand (I think its about time that the Keanu version should be moved)
