Freelance work can be great, wake up when you want, sleep when you want, meet clients when you want… you get my drift. It’s all good to meet new clients and do work for them and have meetings and hang out all day deciding when and how you will build their site, however, when will you get get time to learn new things and meet new innovative people?
I have recently left a job I was at 3 days a week to move back into full time web development. This is awesome. Full time work work, full time pay, full time work, full time work. hahha yea full time.
The bast part about it is that you get to work all day and come home and do WHATEVERYOULIKE yes, no more “must have this project finished today” “oh but the sun is shining and maybe i’ll go to the beach or the park” next thing you know you’ve ended up going out with your mates and it’s now 2am and the site isn’t finished…
All-in-all I very much enjoy my new job, it’s only been a week, but the people are great and the environment rocks. But the best part is being surrounded by people who are into the same stuff as you.
Plus beer and pizza on Fridays is gun.
